Sophie & Jack’s Washington DC winter wedding was a dream. Washington DC turned into a winter wonderland that day.
January 16th, 2022 started with the everyone getting ready at The Line in Washington, D.C. Sophie & Jack had their first look on the rooftop. It started to snow right away when they saw one another. It was really beautiful and quiet moment to witness.
We headed towards St. Matthews where Sophie & Jack had their ceremony. The entire time I felt like I was in a European Cathedral. The snow was falling as Sophie & Jack said their vows to one another. After the ceremony everyone headed towards St. Francis. There was quite a bit of snow on the ground, but everyone made it to the venue safely. Julie and Jessica, the planners at Birch Event DC did an amazing job making sure everyone made it safely to the venue.
The reception was filled with speeches, dancing, and cake cutting. There were so many beautiful highlights from this beautiful day. I’m so excited to share these images on the blog today.
For this wedding I decided to shoot on mostly 35mm film. Sophie wore her mom’s vintage wedding dress and I really wanted vintage tones throughout their gallery.
A few of my favorites from Sophie & Jack’s Washington DC Winter Wedding. I will treasure these photos for a very long time.
