The Kennedy Center Engagement Session

Engagement
This was one of my favorite photo sessions that I have had the The Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center is one of my favorite places for an engagement session. There are so many gorgeous backdrops and such gorgeous architecture to get creative with!

This was one of my favorite engagement sessions that I have had the The Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center is my absolutely favorite places to photograph an engagement session. Don’t get me wrong the National Monuments are stunning as well but the Kennedy Center has so much history.

When I first chat with potential engagement session clients, I always try to figure out where they would want to have their engagement session. One thing that I love having my clients think about is finding a location that is really meaningful to them .Where did you both meet? What is one place that you regularly go to together? Did you both meet at work? Where is a place that you always go back to?

My special place would be the Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center is one of my favorite places to photograph in Washington, D.C. The Kennedy Center is close to my heart because I used to work in the video department filming shows!

There are so many gorgeous backdrops and you also don’t need a permit to photograph there! Which is great because there are so many places in Washington, D.C. that require permits for wedding or engagement photography.

Jumoke & Obinna were so great to photograph. We explored the grounds of The Kennedy Center and The Reach. The session went over an hour because we were having so much fun. The sunset was so beautiful that evening as well. So excited to share these images from this Kennedy Center engagement session on the blog today.
