Mount Vernon Wedding
On a beautiful November day, Ryanne and Joe said “I do” at Mount Vernon Inn. Yes, THE Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home. This venue is the perfect place to have a wedding.
The day began with Ryanne getting ready at the venu with her bridesmaids. The room was filled with contagious laughter, happy tears, and overwhelming excitement for what was to come! Rather than planning a first look with her fiancé, Ryanne chose to do a first look with her father where they exchanged gifts. As their tears flowed, mine did, too! I couldn’t help it!
After the first look, we headed to the ceremony venue just outside the Inn. Ryanne looked radiant as she walked down the aisle, and Joe was overcome with emotion. The ceremony itself was beautiful, too, with its readings and live music. And when they were pronounced husband and wife, the couple’s guests erupted with joy!
During the cocktail hour, we strolled the grounds of Mount Vernon Inn for their bridal portraits, and the newlyweds were overflowing with joy! They ran into each other’s arms, danced, and skipped with one another. And the photos we created together were downright breathtaking!
We then walked to the hill overlooking the Potomac River to catch the last bit of sun. Ryanne and Joe enjoyed a few quiet moments with each other before rejoining their guests. As they slow danced during sunset, I knew this would be a moment I will always remember as a wedding photographer.
Ryanne and Joe have such a beautiful energy, and their Mount Vernon Inn wedding day did, too. I was so lucky to be able to capture their wedding day! I am so excited to share these images on the blog with you today. So excited to photograph another Mount Vernon Inn Wedding.
