Jackie & Vini’s DC War Memorial Wedding
Jackie & Vini’s DC War Memorial wedding day was so special to document. These two chose one of my favorite Washington DC venues, the DC War Memorial. DC War Memorial is one of the most intimate locations to get married. Right before the ceremony, Jackie & Vini had their first look in the trees right next to the DC War Memorial. Both of them seeing each other was such a sweet and intimate moment to witness.
We walked around the ground of the DC War Memorial and took couple portraits. I love spending alone time with my couples. I really love when my couples soak everything in on their wedding day.
Jackie & Vini had their closest friends and family attend their ceremony.Joel Schmidgall did an amazing job officiating the ceremony. It was a really beautiful ceremony to witness. I got goose bumps several times because I could tell how much Jackie & Vini love each other.
Vini, a film photographer decided he also wanted his wedding portraits during blue hour. We spent about an hour exploring the DC War Memorial and the Lincoln Pool. We had so much fun exploring the grounds and creating portraits.
At the end of the evening, Jackie & Vini danced underneath the moon. I felt like I was documenting a movie seen. It was just the two of them dancing as a married couple for the first time.
I am so happy to share this DC War Memorial wedding on the blog. Enjoy!
